French Waves opowiada historię francuskiej muzyki elektronicznej widzianej oczami młodszego pokolenia. Film ukazuje amerykańskie korzenie tej subkultury, nielegalne rave’y, French Touch – trend, który odegrał kluczową rolę dla rozpoznawalności muzyki elektronicznej na całym świecie. 20 kwietnia, godz. 19.00 (sala Teatralna).

Film z udziałem ponad 50 artystów i DJów takich jak Pedro Winter Laurent Garnier, Fakear, Rone, Breakbot, Bob Sinclair czy Terry Hunter, French Waves opowiada historię społecznego i pokoleniowego fenomenu – francuskiej elektroniki.

It sheds light on the movement’s American roots, illegal raves, and the French Touch phenomenon, a musical trend that played a pivotal role in the recognition of electronic music throughout the world.

Featuring more than 50 artists & DJs including Pedro Winter, Laurent Garnier, Fakear, Rone, Breakbot, Bob Sinclair and Terry Hunter, French Waves tells the story of a societal and generational phenomenon – French electronica.

Unmord is the techno moniker of Bartek Turek from Katowice.
Bartek has been dj’ing since around ’06. He is an uncompromising force of nature that shifts sounds and tempos at a moment’s notice – providing a whirlwind of emboldened intensity that can be felt equally through his DJ sets.
